People of all ages visit Rauscher Farm daily, dawn to dusk. Some participate in free recreational programs, some come with family and friends to enjoy in-your-own time activities; some explore the natural treasures of the farm’s diverse habitats; others come to soak up the serenity of Clamshell Pond.
But for some, a time of tranquility beside Clamshell Pond is beyond reach. The proposed All Persons Path to Clamshell Pond will change this. Starting at a newly designed parking area beside the barn and crossing the field, the Path will end in a viewing platform. From this vantage point, visitors will observe Clamshell Pond’s changing seasons and watch the comings and going of year-round and migratory residents.
