Join local bird expert David Cowell on a guided walk to spot Rauscher Farm's permanent and seasonal avian residents.
Here are just some of the bird species previously observed on Rauscher Farm: bald eagles, blue herons, bobolinks, cedar waxwings, chickadees, doves, eastern bluebirds, geese and swans, mockingbirds, nesting ducks, Baltimore orioles, swallows, warblers, woodpeckers -- and more!

A fun week creating a Field Notebook of the animals, birds, insects, plants, trees, and water critters we find that make Rauscher Farm their home.

The StoryWalk Project was created by Annie Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle and Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library
