Rauscher Farm Events, Spring—Early Fall, 2017

Saturday, April 22, 2-4:00 PM: A Spring Day on Rauscher Farm
Celebrate Earth Day discovering Who’s Who on the farm at this time of year.

Saturday, May 20, 11:00 AM—2:00 PM: How Trees Talk
Join a conversation with licensed forester Michael Barry, starting at 11: 00 AM in Clinton’s Bigelow Free Public Library, followed by a woodland walk on Rauscher Farm also led by Michael Barry. Program cosponsored by the Clinton’s Bigelow Free Public Library and a participant in  Freedom’s Way regional Hidden Treasures program on May 20.

June—October: Volunteer Days.

Monday-Friday, July 10-14, 9:00 -12 noon: Nature Adventures on Rauscher Farm
Week-long program; registration via Clinton Public Schools Summer Enrichment Program.

Saturday, July 15, 2-4:00 PM: Let’s Build a Fairy House!
Hands-on fun for the young and the young-in-heart.

July-November: Enjoy a self-guided StoryWalk® along the Clamshell Pond trail
Suitable for younger children. Check nearer the time for information on the chosen book.

Saturday, August 19, 2-4:00 PM: All Aflutter: Butterflies and Bees on Rauscher Farm
Participants will be encouraged to take photos for a Flickr album accessible via a link on .

Monday, August 21, 1-4 PM: Viewing of Partial Solar Eclipse on Rauscher Farm
Eclipse glasses to be provided by Clinton’s Bigelow Free Public Library.

Saturday, September 9: Clinton’s Olde Home Day - Central Park, Clinton
Learn about Clinton Greenway Conservation Trust and Rauscher Farm projects and events.

Sunday, September 17, 1-4:00 PM: Mushroom Walk
Findings identified by members of the Boston Mycological Club.
